My Bots and Event History
I have been building combat bots since the Fall of 2003, but started working on designs and crazy ideas
well before that.
My original event goal was Motorama in February 2004.
Since that cold month all those years ago my tools and skills have improved drastically. This pseudo-timline
provides detailed narrative of my journey from terrified teenager to a fairly accomplished builder.
Because almost every version of each of my bots is
built with a target debut event, my build history can be plotted on a time line. For some of the earlier builds
I didn't take many pictures so the build report itself is a bit smaller. The early builds were also before
there was much video available of the events so I will mostly be writing about my experiences by questionable
memory alone.
